This is a handmade art piece featuring a moth from the Sphingidae, or 'hawk moth' family, surrounded by decorative flower and spider web motifs.

Illustrated by Max Reinhard, the design was then carefully carved out of a linoleum block and printed onto the fine washi printmaking paper.

Artist-made from start to finish, each print is handmade and one-of-a kind. Slight variations and imperfections are expected as a natural part of the printmaking process and add a unique beauty to the artwork.

This print comes pre-hinged in a complimentary off-white acid-free mat, so it's ready to frame with no hassle. It is currently open edition, with each print numbered and signed.

If you may be interested in switching the mat color, please contact the artist. All prints are pre-attached to the mat ahead of time with paper hinging tape. If you plan on using a different mat, a print can be sent to you without a pre-cut mat. Refunds will not be given if the print is damaged by the customer attempting to remove the tape.
